The Information Processing Assistant provides operational support in handling information received by a business or project team. The role helps turn incoming material into organized, usable information by arranging, sorting, preparing, and routing it according to established work procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receive information from assigned internal or external channels.
• Sort incoming material according to project, department, subject, or priority.
• Prepare information packages for review by designated team members.
• Arrange related pieces of information together for easier processing.
• Apply predefined categories or status labels to incoming material.
• Track information that has moved through each stage of the assigned workflow.
• Prepare simple working lists based on processed information.
• Identify items that require additional instructions before further action.
• Forward completed information to the appropriate department or processing stage.
• Assist with routine information-handling activities requested by supervisors.
• Maintain clear records of workflow status for assigned processing tasks.

Required Skills

• Strong organizational and prioritization ability.
• Comfortable handling different types of digital information.
• Good understanding of basic office software.
• Ability to interpret straightforward processing instructions.
