The Database Entry Clerk is responsible for adding and maintaining information within company database systems. This role focuses on keeping database records properly structured, ensuring new information is placed in the correct sections, and supporting smooth access to stored records.

Key Responsibilities

• Add new customer, product, transaction, or business information to designated database systems.
• Assign information to the appropriate database fields and categories.
• Modify existing database entries when authorized updates are received.
• Remove or archive outdated records according to company procedures.
• Review database entries for missing fields or improperly placed information.
• Maintain consistent formatting across database records.
• Follow database-specific instructions when creating or updating entries.
• Keep track of database tasks completed during each working period.
• Assist team members with routine database-related requests.
• Inform the appropriate supervisor when a record cannot be properly entered due to insufficient information.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of database systems and digital record structures.
• Comfortable using computers and web-based applications.
• Ability to work with tables, fields, categories, and record IDs.
• Good keyboard and mouse-handling skills.
• Strong concentration when working with structured information.
• Ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
