Cinematic Video Editor

We are seeking a Cinematic Video Editor with the ability to give ordinary footage a distinctive film-inspired character. This role focuses on creating atmosphere, visual emotion, and a strong sense of visual progression through thoughtful editing decisions.

• Shape raw footage into visually expressive sequences with a cinematic feel.
• Establish mood through carefully chosen shots, scene duration, and visual progression.
• Use composition and framing to strengthen the impact of individual scenes.
• Create seamless visual connections between different locations, subjects, and moments.
• Apply creative color treatments that support the tone of the project.
• Blend natural sound, music, ambience, and designed audio to deepen the viewing experience.
• Introduce subtle film-style elements such as controlled transitions, speed manipulation, overlays, or visual textures where appropriate.
• Maintain visual continuity while giving key scenes enough space to make an impression.
• Review the complete sequence as a finished story and refine areas that feel visually weak or disconnected.
